The 2021 Global Aquaculture Challenge showcased eight international start-ups pitch solutions to capture value from sustainable seafood production to a live digital audience of high-profile investors and industry leaders.

Congratulations to the three innovators that scooped significant prizes including:
• Salmokine (Chile) – awarded the Salmon Sustentable Prize for Transformation worth $50,000
• Jala (Indonesia) – awarded Aqua Bridge (Middle East and North Africa) Prize for Innovation worth $50,000
• Wittaya Aqua (Canada) – awarded $120,000 which also comes with bespoke services from IBM and the opportunity to present during the Start-Up Pitching Session at the Animal AgTech Innovation Summit on October 19.
