Linda Midgley is Vice President, Sustainability for Cargill's Animal Nutrition and Health Enterprise, where she is responsible for driving sustainability performance for animal and aqua nutrition, across the globe and across species. This work is core to Cargill's purpose to nourish the world in a safe, responsible and sustainable way. With almost 20 years of experience in international development and sustainability, Linda is known for her ability to transform big visions into meaningful sustainability and business outcomes. Prior to joining Cargill, Linda was Head of Sustainability for COFRA, a privately held group of companies including Retail Fashion, Real Estate, Private Equity, Renewable Energy and Controlled-Environment Agriculture where she developed and built a Sustainability team to support group-wide implementation. Throughout her career, Linda has served numerous organizations and clients around the world and across sectors to advance strategy-to-execution, manage financials, projects and people, and advance sustainability efforts that also lead to business value. Linda holds an MPhil in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute as well as a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Rhodes University. She has an executive Masters in Internal Auditing from the University of Amsterdam. Linda successfully completed WBCSD's programme for Leading Women in Sustainable Development (LEAP), with content provided by ESADE and Yale.
