Christine Maziero
Christine brings over 20 years of experience in Animal Production, spanning across various domains. She holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine, an MBA in Business Management, and a Master’s in Animal Science. Her career began in Brazil as a Technical Responsible in the field, eventually transitioning into corporate roles, where she dedicated more than eight years. During this time, Christine actively participated in various projects, including revamping chain models and driving business sustainability in highly interdependent roles. Christine is a visionary leader with deep industry expertise, known for turning bold technological innovations into transformative strategies and practical applications that shape the future of poultry animal nutrition and health.
In 2014, Christine took on leadership responsibilities, gaining experience across all levels of the animal production chain. Her focus extended beyond technical aspects to include management, team dynamics, and strategic planning. She worked closely with high-performance teams and maintained strong connections with the company board, academic institutions, and industry organizations.
Christine’s journey continued as a Regional Operations Director in Latam, Brazil, where she oversaw a workforce of over 1,500 individuals and managed operations in the Poultry and Swine production chains, including the feed business. Seeking broader horizons, she relocated to Turkey to lead a larger, multicultural team. This role expanded her expertise to include processing and allowed her to oversee more than 5,000 employees across three different countries in the Middle East.
In May 2023, Christine joined Cargill as the Global Strategic Marketing and Technology Director for the Poultry Segment, relocating to the Netherlands. In this role, she shifted her focus from operational leadership to driving innovation and strategic growth. Christine leads a team of experts, harnessing emerging technologies and data-driven insights to develop forward-thinking solutions that serve diverse markets and shape the future of poultry production.
