We spoke to Kees Aarts, CEO & Founder at Protix about the role of insects in animal feed and the increased demand for insect protein production.

“There is a lot of positive momentum, including companies receiving investment. Insects are a pivotal source of nutrition for all kinds of applications, including pet food, livestock, aquaculture, poultry and also human foods. Personally, this excites me but there is also a broad momentum and acceptance of this new industry.”
